Hundreds of Ghost take over London at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort

As of today, things have got decidedly spooky at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. 1,000 ghosts have invaded Miniland London as part of the Brick or Treat and Monster Fighters Fireworks Halloween events. To find out what other ghostly going ons there will be and see more of the ghosts haunting London, read on...

Dig your witches hats and skeleton masks out of the cupboard and treat your family to a spooky Halloween experience at LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort. With pumpkins-a-plenty and glow-in-the-dark LEGO Monster Fighters’ Ghosts hiding in and around Miniland, this Halloween is set to be bricktacular.

Can you complete the mission and uncover the LEGO Monster Fighter’s moonstones hidden around the resort? All aboard the Ghost Train as the Orient Expedition will be undergoing a spooky transformation. LEGO build challenges, as well as your favourite LEGOLAND characters and shows complete this year’s eerie line up, to keep even the smallest of feet busy.

The Brick or Treat event will run from 13th October until 5th November, and will feature extra entertainment as well as all of the usual LEGOLAND fun:

1,000 Ghosts appear to have taken over the Capital in the run up to Halloween with hundreds spotted on Westminster Bridge, haunting St Paul’s, taking over the London Eye and even some cheeky spooks in residence on the Buckingham Palace Balcony.  The ghostly scene in question appeared last night at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort’s famous miniland as a team of model makers transformed the miniature landscape for its annual Brick or Treat Halloween event.

The LEGO Monster Moonstone Mission is a special prize draw, where guests have to use clues locate the six moonstones – check what colour they are – and when all six are found be in with a chance to win a family holiday to Egypt!

There will be spooky friends to meet at the LEGOLAND Character Meet and Greet house in LEGO City. Pink Brick and her friends will have their outfits ready for Halloween.

Guests aged 7-14 can take part in the Master Monster Builder Challenge to see how quickly they can build Major Quinton Steele’s Hot Rod. The fastest builder throughout the whole event season will win the Monster Fighters collection.

The Monster Fighters Fireworks – on the 27-28th October, 2-4th November - include all of the above, plus some extra added fun. Selected rides will be available until late in the dark, and Kid’s Meals will include a limited edition badge. Ollie’s Little Monsters Ball will have LEGOLAND characters leading the dancing for some monster mash fun.

The actual Monster Fighters themed fireworks themselves will now be viewable with LEGO 3D glasses (available for purchase), that will see 3D bricks flying over the LEGOLAND Park! The fireworks start at 18.30 each evening.

Evil Lord Vampyre has awakened his army of monsters and is escaping with the moonstones; the Monster Fighters must stop them before they complete their evil plan to eclipse the sun forever. Can you help Dr Rodney Rathbone and his team to rescue the precious moonstones?
